La Taberna
La Taberna, located in Napa, CA, is a cozy and unassuming tapas bar that offers a unique Spanish dining experience.
As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of exploring the diverse menu at La Taberna and was truly impressed by the array of options available. From seasonal cocktails to Tetilla empanadas that are described as "eating everyday, forever" to a selection of exquisite cheeses, every dish at La Taberna promises to delight your taste buds.
One of the standout dishes that left a lasting impression on me was the crispy Pork Belly, which was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. The Beef Cheek Empanada, although slightly chopped for some palates, featured light and airy dough that added a unique texture to the dish. And let's not forget about the Patatas Bravas that, although slightly lacking in excitement, still managed to satisfy the craving for savory potatoes.
The ambiance at La Taberna is charming, with a lovely view of the river and a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a date night or a casual evening out with friends. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, guiding customers through the menu with expertise and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Overall, La Taberna is a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Spanish tapas in Napa. With its diverse menu, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere, this tapas bar is sure to become a favorite dining destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Great tapas. The crispy pig ear are amazing. We try to come here whenever we are in Napa.

My absolute fave restaurant in Napa and one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the US. I could eat here every weekend and never get tired of it. This is what I want from food, and wine, and service, and a patio. I moved to SoCal but I still think of La Taberna all the time.

I love a date night with tapas because let's be real, I want to try everything on the table! La Taberna is such a fun spot along Main St.! Aesthetic - 9/10 Quaint, unassuming, but perfectly cozy with a view of the river and in perfect walking distance to the rest of downtown. Staff - 10/10 We loved our waitress! She really helped guide our choices throughout our meal and had great knowledge of the menu! Our Order: - Seasonal cocktails (10/10) - Light and refreshing and even better, low ABV! - Tetilla empanada (10/10... maybe a 15/10) - I would eat this everyday, forever! Seriously, don't think about it, just order it. - Croqueta del dia (10/10) - Delicious and leaves you craving more. - Seleccion de Queso (10/10) - I LOVE a good cheese board and their selections were *chef's kiss*. - Patatas Bravas (7/10) - Sadly, these were the least exciting part of our meal. They were pretty dry and lackluster. I'd trade these out for something else to try. - Crispy Pork Belly (10/10) - I definitely could've crushed more of these! Perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. - Beef Cheek Empanada (8/10) - The empanada dough was so beautifully light and airy but the meat was too chopped for my liking, it felt almost like ground beef. - Tortilla (omelette) (8/10) - Flavorful, just not my favorite dish of the night. If you've made it this far then you know, you should try this place! It has so many delicious options for all palates!

Nice tapas place in downtown Napa. We tried a variety of their appetizers as well as some of their wine. It's a cozy spot, and the staff helping us was very friendly and helped introduce us to the menu.
